Therapy for Anxiety, Excessive Worry, and Rumination
Anxiety can affect many areas of life, often leaving you feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or constantly anticipating the worst (i.e. catastrophizing). It may show up as persistent worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, difficulty sleeping, or a sense of unease that feels hard to explain. Restlessness, racing thoughts, perfectionism, or a constant need to stay in control are signs that anxiety is oppressing you. Beneath the surface, anxiety often stems from early experiences of unpredictability or emotional insecurity.
We offer a supportive space where you can begin to understand your anxiety more deeply and the ways that it is hard on you. We help you to understand how these patterns developed and support you in developing a calmer, more regulated inner world. We will also work collaboratively to explore what may lie beneath the worry — including past experiences, or relational patterns that may be contributing to how anxiety manifests in your life. You’ll learn both practical strategies to manage anxious feelings and deeper ways to feel safe within yourself.
